The Philanthropy team leads the execution of Ronald McDonald House’s global fundraising in support of the organization’s bold 2030 ambitions: to double the number of families served worldwide, address the most critical unmet needs of families, advance family‑centered care as the global standard, and sustain system‑wide revenue above $1 billion. The team drives significant philanthropic revenue while simultaneously building the systems, capabilities and culture required to scale fundraising impact across the global system. The Philanthropy team is responsible for generating approximately $30+ million annually in philanthropic funds through a diverse and growing portfolio of revenue streams. These include corporate partnerships, individual and major gifts, planned giving, foundation grants, cause‑related marketing and signature events.
Duties
Role Summary:
The Manager, Institutional Philanthropy plays a critical role in growing and stewarding RMHC’s base of institutional donors. Reporting to the Director of Institutional Philanthropy, this role manages a portfolio of existing accounts, responsible for cultivating relationships, soliciting gifts, and providing exceptional stewardship. The Manager will also contribute to new business acquisition strategies and engage in new business development working closely with colleagues across the philanthropy team to advance fundraising goals.
Portfolio Management & Partner Stewardship
- Manage a portfolio of corporate partners and prospects, cultivating relationships to deepen engagement and grow financial and non-financial support.
- Develop and implement customized strategies for solicitation, cultivation, and stewardship of corporate and foundation partners.
- Conduct regular outreach (calls, meetings, presentations, correspondence) to build and maintain strong, long-term corporate relationships.
- Prepare partnership proposals, briefing materials, and presentations in collaboration with colleagues.
New Business Development
- Identify and qualify new corporate prospects through research, networks, and market intelligence.
- Support the design and execution of strategies to acquire and expand corporate partnerships.
- Partner with colleagues to develop campaigns, sponsorship opportunities, and co-branded initiatives that engage new corporate supporters.
Collaboration & Integration
- Work closely with program, marketing, communications, and events teams to align corporate partner engagement and activations with organizational priorities.
- Collaborate with philanthropy colleagues to ensure coordinated engagement strategies across corporate, foundation, and individual giving portfolios.
- Track donor interactions, proposals, and moves management activity in the CRM system.
Planning & Reporting
- Support the Director in developing annual revenue targets and strategies for corporate philanthropy.
- Monitor progress toward goals and prepare regular reports on portfolio activity, pipeline development, and partnership outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with fundraising policies, ethical standards, contractual obligations, and partner confidentiality.
Knowledge and Skills
- Proven track record of security and managing large institutional partnerships.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with ability to engage senior level donor contacts.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills; experience preparing proposals and donor materials.
- Proficiency in donor CRM systems and prospect management processes.
- Highly organized, goal-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of experience in fundraising, with a focus on institutional giving, partnerships, or corporate/foundation relations.

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this role is $101,437.00 - $126,797.00 per year.The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we may also consider your experience, and other job-related factors.
